The Carnegie Hall is right at the corner of The Art Students League of NY, that I visit every week, at 57th Street and 7th Ave. Once in a drizzly evening I noticed that the Carnegie Hall Tower is disappearing in clouds, and the higher floors lights create this nice delicate light. That image has inspired me to paint this work.
